Mexico, The Secretary of Health of Tlaxcala, Rigoberto Zamudio Meneses, reported that during Huamantlada 2023, medical attention was provided to 20 injured , all of them men, of whom 12 were classified as having minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

While eight were transferred to the IMSS-Bienestar de Huamantla Hospital, of which two serious male persons are reported, one 31-year-old from Huamantla, who required surgical intervention due to an abdominal laceration and the second 28-year-old patient with a goring in the left leg, he is originally from Panotla, both receive the necessary medical attention for their recovery. So far there are no deaths yet from the traditional Huamantlada.
