In November 2023 an acquaintance J.B. was out on the block (skid row) in Vancouver b.c. when a gang member shot at him for selling drugs in their spot. Fortunately this was a minor accident, it could have been much worse.

It looks as though J put his hand up and the bullet entered through the hand and exited near his elbow.

I think I've got it backwards, the entry is usually the smaller wound, while the exit is a larger one. But yeah what a shot!
