Gross Looking Tongue
A biopsy of the vegetative spherical mass on the left side of the tongue (measuring 2 cm in diameter) and associated leukoplakia revealed squamous-cell carcinoma. The tumor was surgically removed, and the tongue was reconstructed with the use of a free flap of tissue.

Yeh, they removed the tongue due to cancer.. and put a flap of skin in there to replace it..
But now the person has no sense of taste .

Wonder if they can move the flap of skin like it were their real tongue?
