My best friend will soon find that out tomorrow..he was hit by a train yesterday..tried to commit suicide but survived...his left leg is completely gone and they amputated his right foot...there waking him up tomorrow and when he sees the damage im sure it will be devastating.

Interesting stuff; thanks for posting. I find stuff like this fascinating. Discovery used to have a show on years ago called "The Operation". I don't recall seeing amputations, but they showed knee replacements, hip replacements, reconstructive surgeries, etc. Was a cool show.

No leg, bad enough, colostomy bag is beyond words. Life is so not worth living, to me, without a leg and a couple inches of inverted intestines or colon sticking out from a hole in your abdomen. A shit leaking, gas producing, repulsive smelling 24/7 job changing shit bags and and flanges and having bad rashes around it... and so on. Also you'd have to find a very special person to be willing to fuck you after all that. |

How is he doing now? Good I hope. There was a teenage girl on Oprah awhile ago who put herself under a train, which then ran over her legs (of course severing them way above the knee). Oh, and she was conscious the whole time and also while waiting to be found! She was in a wheelchair and perfectly fine w/ it all. She got all into God. Also on the show: Teenage boy, who used to have a great face, shot himself w/ a shotgun (in face). Now he's got no eyes, nose, teeth, etc... he's severely disfigured even after reconstructive surgery. He's also all into God now and happy to be alive. Very sad, but if they're happy then good for them. |
