Re: Girl with Epilespy Seizing
That must be sooooo tiring. Good thing she has someone by her side who gently helps her. I once witnessed a guy go into a seizure in a bakery and he fell through the glass window there. We had to call 911 because he had cut himself really bad. |

Re: Girl with Epilespy Seizing
My little sister had severe epilepsy due to her frontal lobe calcifying and turning into a tumor the size of a baseball....she nearly drowned once and we got snowed into a cabin we were holidaying at during an eight hour grand maul(that's not how u spell it) and I can tell you all it's scarier afterwards once they start breathing again because they are so disoriented.... |

Re: Girl with Epilespy Seizing
I had a girlfriend that seized out a few times (nothing like that though). Anyway the first time I called 911. The second time I didn't because she would have said no to the medical team... besides that was back in my party days and I'm sure we have a shit ton of weed and alcohol strung about the place |

Re: Girl with Epilespy Seizing
I've been with two women who had epileptic fits, both were small and both were hookers, and both were Filipinas. Nothing to do with the epilepsy though, it was just the sort of establishments I used to frequent, and the shortage of correct treatment in a third world country. The fact that they were small meant I could lay them on the ground easily where they would not bash into anything and hurt themselves. Once was in a restaurant, once was in a go-go bar. It was pretty amazing the response from people around. One girl, another hooker, told me I needed to slap the girls face to 'bring her round'. Several people told me I had to pin her down to 'stop her going crazy'. And there were other people who wanted to put spoons and shit in the girls mouths to stop her biting her tongue. I just told them all to get out of the way and leave us some space until it was over. I'm not a doctor or anything, just done a bunch of first aid training and stuff like that for my job. The strange thing is that when they stopped fitting both girls didn't seem to realise what had happened, or be particularly bothered or upset about it, just wiped their face off and carried on with the day. |

Re: Girl with Epilespy Seizing
I also have epilepsy but it is controlled with meds. When I have had fits in the past I can't remember anything during or afterwoods. I also used to have a lot of dajavu' (I think thats the spelling) the neurologists said that is a form of fit in itself, so if anyone has that then you may be having mini fits

Re: Girl with Epilespy Seizing
Can't watch the video... My ex had a severe head trauma which left him with seizures. Was awful and scary. Good advice! He had a seizure on the side of the road once, that was NOT fun. Luckily I pretty much got him to the ground before it happened and he was fine. Walking the rest of the way home wasn't fun though! |
