Reminds me of a patient who died of heart failure. His ball bag was like a huge water balloon due to odaema (soft tissue swelling) and I had to photograph it 'just for the record' at work.

I truly wish I could share that picture (and all the rest!). I had to photograph many amazing things when I worked as a mortician, it was part of my role. Fuck, I remember photographing the face of a baby with some syndrome and got locked out!!!! In the corridor with a dead baby  Luckily I held her like a live one then found an internal phone for help  |
