Genital Gangrene: After Surgery
Fournier's gangrene, caused by flesh-eating bacteria on a diabetic patient. This picture was taken after his necrotic scrotal tissue and leg were amputated. Notice the exposed testicles with what looks like puss on them. (Note: I do not know if this picture is of the same man whose completely necrotic scrotum I posted a pic of under "Genital Gangrene" previously, but it very well could be.) |

No, I believe they cut away the rotten scrotal tissue when the leg was amputated, and I'm pretty sure that he was fitted with a prosthetic scrotum assuming that his testicles weren't necrotic or infected with flesh-eating bacteria. Thanks for the great question, Aria! |
