Re: Gender Change
Pretty much that! Gender is between the ears, sex is between the legs. They aren't the same thing and sometimes they don't match. There isn't anything wrong with that, it's just how you were born. Some people experience serious dysphoria and opt for surgery to make them match. Having your gender not match your sex is seriously uncomfortable, especially with the gender binaries that are so firmly wedged into our society. After I pass on, I'd gladly donate my brain to research. |

Re: Gender Change
There are trans people who regretted the transformation, you can search for cases on Google. Not everyone have the same minds, people are unique and complicated: The 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey claims that 11% of female respondents regret surgery enough to change back to their original sex. Anyway, I find terrible to destroy a body with aesthetic surgeries, I don't care if it's a face lifting, putting fake six-pack, or this. And yes, I call it aesthetic because gender is zero relevant for a person fulfillment in a first world country, you can enjoy your life and hobbies regardless of what you have in the crotch. It's absolutely meaningless. One have to be very obsessed with sex, genitalia, and physical appearance to want to change his body in that way. What is a challenge and a disgrace in your daily life is having a serious disability, and that is on another league. |

Re: Gender Change
I'm sorry (not sorry) but do the idiots that go through this know they will never be the opposite gender regardless of hormones or surgeries? To each their own, really, but I would never support this kind of surgery for anyone I care about. If your son or daughter said, "Dad - I think this bowl of cereal is talking to me. I want to get married to it." Would you encourage him/her to talk to the bowl of cereal and marry it? No, you'd get that fucker some help. Same fucking thing here. |

Re: Gender Change
Gonna pretty hard to do, considering 'she' is still really a he, after all. He's just missing his twig and berries.
