Lol we don't have "free Medicare", we just don't have to pay if we get sick. Broken leg. No problem. Missing an arm? Come on down. Cancer? We'll see you up. Drug addiction? Here's some methadone. We do however have to pay for medication sometimes when given a prescription, but a lot of the time the doctor can hook you up with free samples of the medication you need, or can give you a generic brand of the same ingredients for free/cheaper. BUT, if you are on social assistance, disability, etc the medication and methadone get covered so you don't have to pay a cent. Also, most jobs will provide some sort of medical coverage for crap like that. We DO have to pay to get anything done with our teeth, unless again you have a job or are on social assistance, and usually it's one or the other, and if not then on a spouses plan. But if it gets to be an emergency you can go to er and they will hook you up with something. Glasses same thing, gotta pay unless covered. So not everything is free but we certainly don't make it hard to get covered so you don't have to pay. No applying for insurance and paying monthly fees or any of that bullshit. We actually take care of our own :P |
