Gas Gangrene
according to wikipedia Gas gangrene (also known as "Clostridial myonecrosis" and "Myonecrosis") is a bacterial infection that produces gas tissues in gangrene. It is a deadly form of gangrene usually caused by Clostridium perfringens bacteria. It is a medical emergency.either way it looks insanely painful. |

I could be wrong but I think they can remove part of your large intestine including the appendix and rectum and your gastrointestinal system will still function provided they perform a colostomy. The infection looks like it has reached the appendix and large intestine but not the liver or bladder. |
