I play every night for the last two hours of my day, every day. I’ve played every night for years and years. Sometimes I play more than others but it’s a wonderful pastime for me. I’ve been a “gamer” all my life. I’m over 60 now. I love the adventure, the fantasy and seeing different worlds. Zombies, not zombies, science fiction, pirate booty, Middle ages etc. it’s endless the different places you can go to and the different things you’ll never do in real life like driving an F1 car or piloting an intergalactic spaceship.
I also read 70 different books last year, built my car to the ultimate in perfection with amazing competition car stereo system and an interior to rival any supercar. I traveled through half the United States driving to see friends and family. I painted the whole interior of my home, worked outside making things look nice, had dinner out with friends and entertained people where I live. I went to a few movies and did lots of other things.
I’m not wasting my life away I'm enjoying it to the fullest doing all kinds of different activities. Just because I game doesn’t mean I’m wasting my life away. You might try looking at it from a different perspective brother. I’ll agree that there are those who do nothing else and do waste their lives away but just because a guy or girl is playing a video game doesn’t mean they’re wasting their lives away or never doing anything else. Just a few things to consider.
