Saw the whole procedure the other day, watching the patient get knocked out on a cocktail of sedatives is fun. Watching the gall bladder get seared off with a heat knife is fun, but the best bit is watching the nurses slice the sample gall bladder and all the little cholesterol balls exudate out of it. Gross but cholecystectomies are very cool to watch!
