Gallbladder Surgery
After a few weeks of attacks almost every night, I decided it was time to get this thing out of me. There was a stone almost an inch wide stuck in there. I haven't had ANY problems since the surgery in May. It feels good to not have to worry about what I eat anymore, wondering if I'll have attacks because of it. I had the laparoscopic surgery. Recovery was painful, mostly because of the gas they filled me up with. Rolling over and having the gas shift my insides hurt like hell. My pain meds also made me sick. Throwing up was not fun. Totally worth not having to deal with the pain of the attacks anymore though!

Re: Gallbladder Surgery
They wouldn't let me keep it because there was only the one and they said something about wanting to run tests on it.. ?? Who knows. I was glad to at least get a pic of it. It's amazing how something so small can cause cause so much havoc. Glad that freaking thing is gone!!
