High-speed, full-body imaging assists the forensic pathologist by reducing the time taken to complete autopsy examinations. Full-body images can be quickly obtained for all bodies admitted for autopsy, and can assist in confirming the identity of the dead. Radiographs may be especially useful in the case of religious groups that require expedited burial while rapid localisation of foreign bodies, including bullets, with multiple views can benefit criminal investigations.
