Fracture Dislocation of the Ankle

Info with vid:

This is a fracture/dislocation of the ankle. Because there were poorly palpable or doppler pulses in the extremity the bone had to be reduced back in immediately. After a few liters of irrigation we just pulled on the foot to realign the bone back into the tissue. Of course he would end up needing intra operative irrigation and further orthopedic care. But at that moment in time, the important thing is to re-establish blood flow to the foot.
