Colombia- In the afternoon of this holiday Monday, a shooting was recorded in the Kennedy neighborhood of the city of Buenaventura, which left four men injured, apparently, with a firearm projectile.

Lieutenant Colonel Edgar Andrés Correa, commander of the Buenaventura Police, said that strangers, apparently, on a motorcycle and a taxi intercepted the men and shot them repeatedly.

"In the Kennedy neighborhood, commune 7 of the special district of Buenaventura, four people are injured by a firearm, apparently a motorcycle and a taxi passed through the place assaulting these people," said the lieutenant.

Similarly, the commander specified that the authorities arrived in the area and helped transfer the injured to a district hospital.

"Thanks to the police reaction, the injured were immediately taken to the hospital, where they are being evaluated by the doctors on duty," he added. The authorities are waiting for the medical report to deliver statements.
