Re: Four Doctors Have Not Been Able to Diagnose This

You know the vasculitis does look similar, especially in the grouping, but vasculitis doesn't look as raised.

Chicken pox looks strikingly similar to what she has, and most of the symptoms seem to fit pretty well, but she doesn't act like they itch at all. Not to mention, as I said she has none on her trunk or face.

She does have Impetigo on her nose and upper lip.

Re: Four Doctors Have Not Been Able to Diagnose This

Oh my goodness I'm sorry! Wish I had some idea what that is, but I don't have the medical knowledge to even guess. I would continue trying to find a doctor who can help your family!

Re: Four Doctors Have Not Been Able to Diagnose This

my and one of her sisters has a condition called Lichen Planus. It looks similar.....sounds like a daft question but do they feel like they have a tiny piece of rice or a hard bump in the centre of the bigger "spots"?

That looks like a rash of some sort (point out the obvious). Hope you find out soon.

Re: Four Doctors Have Not Been Able to Diagnose This

It has some resemblance to Lichen Planus (shin location), but since there are no oral complaints it is not that likely.

Re: Four Doctors Have Not Been Able to Diagnose This

The rash actually resembles my sons psoriasis in its early stages. It started out looking like blisters on the elbows, knees, ankles and fingers. As it progressed it started to get more scaly and rough.

Doesn't always go hand in hand.....my mum goes for months without having any oral probs, then it flares up......in every mucus membrane
