I don't know about you but the pin sticking into the end of the big toe looks the most painful to me

I’ve had two of those sticking out of my left pinkie finger, not quite as large though (motorcycle racing mishap). You hit them against everything, even though they bandage you up. You’d think they’d be painful to remove, but they weren’t.

The thing that scares me the most about the wound in this scenario is the rather large open wound in the arch of the foot. Cover it with mesh or skin grafts, it just makes my feet ache looking at it.

i know someone that suffered pretty much the same.

Avulsion, looks like it just squished the bottom of the foot off leaving it attached by a flap on the other side. (Hopefully)
Popped it clear off the foot.
