Never seen this reaction from sandal straps before. Almost everyone wears China-made sandals. It's like the straps melted in the heat.

Holy shit, this actually happened to me! It wasn't nearly as bad as this, but I thought it was just my fucked up weird ass feet and from walking around in a creek with flip flops on. I got a wicked ass rash in between my big and first toes and the tops of my feet were red and peely, like a sunburn.
