Holy crap! I hate fireworks. They scare the hell out of me. When I was around 4 I got chased around the driveway by a 'Whistling Pete" the ones that just make a lot of noise but nothing else. Apparently that was enough because 35 years later I'm still afraid of them. It's legal to have/use any kind of fireworks here. Even the mortar kind that they use in pyrotechnic shows. My mom likes to make 'seal bombs'. Take a bunch of sparklers, tape them all toghter with electrical tape, leave just one kind sticking out for a wick, cover the bomb loosely with sand, light it, run like hell. I stay in the car. |
