That's why you light them inside then throw them out. The wind blowing made fire light the fuse close to the end of it wasn't pushed into to powder directly

I’ve had a firecracker explode in my hand before. I was just a kid. Seeing this I don’t know how I escaped without losing my own fingers but I did. I grew up in a time when all fireworks were legal..
