Almost looks like smallpox.... I remember reading one of those "insane survival" stories in People years back, a woman was parachuting and her main and reserve chutes failed, she smacked the ground right in a huge fire ant mound, and the stings of the fire ants actually kept her body from going into shock until help could arrive. |

are those stings or bites or both? (it is my understanding that bites come from the front of the ant and stings come from the back end of the ant.) |
