How the hell can you hit yourself in the finger with a Scythe? It should be impossible, they are so long from handle to blade.

Had almost the same injury from running my finger through a gear (Not intentionally). Severed it back almost to the joint...The repair was quite painful after the block wore off mainly because they really compressed the area with tightly stitched precision. I couldn't touch anything for about year or it would drive me nuts! Finally became almost back to normal. If I were to relive the incident I would elect to have it amputated.
