Re: Fingernail Issues
Thank you for sharing, Minty I didn't have a particular incident start that fear, but, touching my eyeball once when I had contacts and how gooey it was, didn't help, and I know once you lose your sight, it's pretty much gone. |

Re: Fingernail Issues
Nothing to do with texture for me.. Just one of those places.. Can't do it.. If I ever require aid of sorts for my eyesight? I'll be wearing spectacles. I'd be more comfortable playing with a length of my intestine than my eyes.. (I've had two hernias..2nd one had to push it in the abdomen every so often or would start to hurt.) Will not touch my eyes.. nope.. No way.. As for injuries and healing and foreign objects causing lack of sight?.. loss of vision has little to do with my phobia.. I get the feeling one would from claustrophobia when objects, sharp or dull pointed at near my eyes... I KNOW it isn't a imminent danger (Most times).. But it near paralyzes me in fear having something pointy aimed at my eyes.. or looking at something inanimate and pointy/sharp in close proximity just the same.. (As stated before. The pegboards in stores on their walls/aisles.. Walking a few feet away from them and looking at them.. A little is all it takes. |
