Finger Damage..Caught in a Chain...
This is my finger post surgery after nearly losing it to 3/8" chain out in the oilfields...COULD have been a degloving injury except the drilling mud acted as a lubricant and saved me the trouble of a non-surgical amputation.....Yes, chains can fuck you up if you find yourself in the wrong place at the right time! My grandfather lost his middle-finger to a tractor engine... so bloody. Had to use an old-oil-mud dirty rag to press on his finger to stop the bleeding.

Very nice. I have a similar injury to my left index finger which required 10 stitches. Several years have passed and I still can't feel parts of it anymore  |

It didn't hurt at first, but it looked cool before they sewed me up...had stitches inside the laceration, and some crushing injury as well...looked like a overcooked hotdog split open, made a nurse pass out lol...tried pre-surgery pics, but they wouldn't allow it...I never used any anesthetic..against my religion, so the pain took me to new heights of enlightenment... |
looks painful.
