Filipino Woman Who Died with Terrible Cancer in the Face
Based on backtracking the story, it all started with a loss of smell and a sinusitis in the middle of 2025, before a tumor grew on her nose and became cancerous, eventually destroying her face and body. She finally died May 9, 2026, she was only 19 years old. I also included a funeral video, she was given an open casket service (which is quite rare for such a disfigured body). |

How sad. What a horrible way to survive until death. She was quite an attractive young woman before her affliction. |

Re: Filipino Woman Who Died with Terrible Cancer in the Face
Way too soon and tragic. There's possible hope for the future though. CRISPR protein, Cas12a2. https://attheu.utah.edu/health-medic...ick-cells-dna/ Most testing has occurred in petri dishes and/or small mouse models so scientists must figure out now safe delivery mechanisms ensuring the shredder safely reaches the tumor without being degraded by the body's immune system. If Cas12a2 passes every single phase (3 in humans) successfully, the entire process will take at least 9 to 12 years. However, he Institute of Cancer Research notes that combining advanced AI with drug development workflows could slash the preclinical phase from three years to three months, and ultimately cut overall trial times from 9 to 12 years into 5 to 7 years as However, following the current administration's goal to drastically shrink the federal government, the Food and Drug Administration lost roughly 20% of its total staff, representing more than 3,800 positions. Furthermore, the White House Fiscal Year 2026 budget proposal enacted an additional $271 million direct cut to the FDA. This severe understaffing introduces specific bottlenecks that could directly stall gene therapies. |
