Something similar happened to a friends cousin. They were out tubeing (attach a tube to a boat and pull it along) she hit a wave and was thrown off the tube and ended up straddling the rope for a bit. From what I heard from the parents she was torn up pretty good requiring reconstructive surgery. It could've been similar to that. Just throwing out a possibility.

Could be a motorcycle accident. For some reason, I noticed, the crotch and ass areas gets torn up. That and the head!
