Re: Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
How is this any different to circumcising a baby boy There is no need in the day and age to cut of a boys foreskin. Yet in some American states 60% of baby boys under go the procedure with out pain relief. Its not that hard to teach a boy to clean under his foreskin. Talk about barbaric. |

Re: Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
They do it so the girl will not experience any sexual pleasure so then she won't run away with another man. Also to ENSURE that she is a virgin, as in the one picture where the vagina did not even appear to be open, because it's not open. They remove the clitoris, then remove the inner labia 'minor' Then they slice off the vaginal 'lips' or labia major and press the wounded edges together and then sew it up so that it heals 'closed' on the wedding night the man just rips it open.
