It's basically because the men don't want the women to be able to be distracted by pleasuring themselves. So the removal of the clitoris, under the guise of some ancient ritual to appease some god somewhere, is made to use the woman strictly as a labor/copy machine. The men have complete control because they hunt and gather. They prefer their way of life, with severe consequences to their evolution. No matter how "natural" their way of living is, it stifles imagination, expression and creativity. Stifled by archaic beliefs they hold themselves in their own personal hell. I'd rather know there is a knife in my back, and try to pull it out, rather than pray to an idea just to begin to help me find where the pain is coming from. |
