Re: Feline Dystocia - Trapped Kitten

Is it me or was that kitten huge ?
Anyway it's great to see that both the kitten and momma cat survived.
That cat is a Turkish van, I have one. Rare cat especially outside of Turkey, yet one showed up at our doorstep last summer and adopted us as his owners.
Anyways, they are big cats, wouldn't surprise me if their kittens were enlarged enough to be stuck.

Re: Feline Dystocia - Trapped Kitten

Awww! That's a nice happy ending! It's very risky operation on a pregnant animal.

It sure as hell shouldn't be, I used to work at a hospital and any workers who came into contact with patients had to keep their nails at a certain length, MRSA can be spread pretty easily from under those funky-ass nails. I don't see why vets should not hold to the same standards.
