Came here to say this. That blade was not meant to be used on that tool, I'd even guess that he had to rig it just to make it go. This guy is an idiot.

A farmer cutting some firewood with a powerful electric circular saw swears he’ll never touch a power tool again after the blade slipped and buried itself in his stomach. He was rushed to a hospital 30 miles from his remote home with the electric saw blade still jammed 10cm deep in to his. The male, 56, amazingly survived the horrific accident. The guy is a complete idiot. The electric tool in question is a angle grinder/buffer, it is not designed to have a saw blade attached because of this ^^ very reason. A circular saws speed is relatively slow and have a "brake" when the trigger is released. The buffer spins at up to 40,000 RPMs and when the trigger is released it still spins like fucking crazy and slowly winds down. So what ever he was cutting either caught the blade and kicked tje buffer back at him or it got caught in the cord or what ever. OBTW, notice no guard for the blade. *Palms forehead in disgust. |
