Re: A Family's Tribute to Their Lost Baby
I used to think the people who posted them were morbid, but, I now think they find some happiness in sharing the little time they had with their babies. I thought it was really nice that the entire family, or most of them, got to see the baby and hold him. I don't believe there is closure in any death, but, the mother carried him for all those months and she doesn't want to forget him. I'm sure felt a terrible loss. The siblings will always remember him, too, and perhaps it will help them understand death as they get older. |

Re: A Family's Tribute to Their Lost Baby
It is very heart breaking and for me brings back personal memories. It is very hard to carry a baby for 9m, only to have those hopes and dreams torn from your arms, and go home empty, with out your beloved baby. Yes, some pictures are of little comfort, but it never makes the pain go away. Any pictures are a tiny beautiful reminder of the very precious life that once would have been. |
