Face Mutilated by Bear
An elderly male, encountered a black bear in the mountains, and his right face was torn and damaged. The patient was in hemorrhagic shock, the skin and soft tissues and muscles of the right face were damaged, multiple fractures of the zygomatic bone, orbital wall and maxilla occurred, the zygomatic bone was dislocated in front of the auricle, and the right eye had no light perception. Multiple lacerations of the head, back and right upper limb, and multiple rib fractures on the right side. After the whole body was in good condition, the anterolateral thigh flap was used to repair the wound. |
