Eyelash Trichomegaly: Excessive Eyelash Growth and Causes
Eyelash trichomegaly is excessive eyelash growth, defined by lashes measuring 12 mm or longer, with increased thickness, stiffness, curling and pigmentation. It can run in families, occur with congenital syndromes, or accompany diseases including HIV infection and allergic conditions. It can also develop during treatment with certain drugs, including topical prostaglandins and epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors. The exact mechanism is unknown. The condition is mainly cosmetic, and treatment is usually unnecessary when there are no symptoms. Severe cases can cause visual discomfort, mechanical drooping of the eyelid, or corneal ulcers when misdirected lashes rub against the eye. Trimming or removing the lashes can be effective. |

This would save me so much money! The amount of money I spend on lash extensions and all things lash related is ridiculous! The baby with the super long lashes if she is a girl she is a lucky baby!
