Actually, we dealt with a crash victim who had that exact injury. When we lived up in Jockland, we lived on a road accident black spot and dealt with a few crashes. One time a mini hurtled around the corner, flipped, and the driver had facial fractures resulting in his eye protruding My mum dealt with him while I called 999. |

Popping an eye out isn't quite as uncommon as you'd think. In some instances, a simple act of sneezing or having a coughing fit can cause the globe to pop out. A trick a lot of doctors use is to put a paper clip on the upper eyelid and almost "fold" the eyeball back into place.
