Re: Extensive Self Harm.
To some it is like a competition. They see other cutters on the internet and want to 'one up' the others to feel more special/unique. Being a victim is like social currency after all, except now it seems to be more popular to just have a special gender or sexual orientation. I used to be a cutter myself so I know a little bit about it from a personal standpoint. No doubt the psychology behind the cutting varies from person to person.

Re: Extensive Self Harm.
No significant pain at all is required. Some people kill themselves or mutilate themselves over the most shallow basic bullshit, like having issues with a teenage romance or being ostracized from a social group. The human brain is capable of exaggerating all kinds of silly shit. I have a feeling that people who actually live in extremely harsh conditions that require a lot of work to survive don't indulge in self harm as often as middle upper class teenagers in first world countries do. |

Re: Extensive Self Harm.
It's bizarre how livid some people get over seeing self-harm. You see comments here where people are wishing her some gory death because, what, she's mentally ill? Even if some of these morons were right and she DOES want attention, why should that be a death sentence lmao. You're just as crazy as her if that's your thought process.

Re: Extensive Self Harm.
Why the boobs tho'? There are women that would kill for a pair of natural tits like that, and pay thousands for a facsimile, mostly to improve their self-confidence, so it seems utterly self-defeating to vandalize what many women would consider to be their greatest asset.
