Escharotomy Procedure- Don't Play with Matches Kids
An escharotomy is a surgical procedure used to treat full-thickness (third-degree) circumferential burns. In full-thickness burns, both the epidermis and the dermis are destroyed along with sensory nerves in the dermis. The tough leathery tissue remaining after a full-thickness burn has been termed eschar. Following a full-thickness burn, as the underlying tissues are rehydrated, they become constricted due to the eschar's loss of elasticity, leading to impaired circulation distal to the wound. An escharotomy can be performed as a prophylactic measure as well as to release pressure, facilitate circulation and combat burn-induced compartment syndrome.

When you've been burned that badly, you're better off dead.

Euthanasia should be considered. What if you observe a car crash, car bursts into flames. Driver is pinned under the dash but alive. A witness sees and hears him suffering so he shoots him once in the head. Wonder how that would play out in the US. Indictment? Goes to trial and jury convicts? Acquittal? Let's say it happens in Muncie, Indiana, the most average city in the country. |

I have no clue how the courts would handle it but when I saw a video on here with someone who couldn't get out of a burning building and there were people outside of the window which had thick heavy bars on it......that was when I thought the same thing that if that was me I would hope someone would shoot me.....

I do casework in Muncie. If it's the most average city in the country... the country's in trouble.

Re: Escharotomy Procedure- Don't Play with Matches Kids
A guy I know was in a car crash. His sister was driving and her car was hit by another vehicle. The guys in the other car were on drugs. The guy and 2 others got out but his sister was trapped. The car went on fire, she burned to death in front of them. I always thought his sister was hot but Im not sure he would take it the right way anymore |
