Episcleritis
Hi guys, I lost most of the photos from my comp HD a few weeks ago but had them all backed up luckily. As I was putting them back on my new HD, I came across this picture from earlier last year. I had an itchy eye for quite a while and thought I may have scratched the surface of it so I went to see the doc. He couldn't work out what it was after squirting a load of weird orange shit in there, so I was subsequently sent to the Hospital. Once a nurse had a look, I was prescribed Pred Forte eye drops for Episcleritis. Episcleritis is the inflammation of the Episclera; the gelatinous covering of the whites of the eye. It can be tender, painful, itchy and give headaches. It can be caused by underlying symptoms but also chemicals in the air- I work at a printers, so the chances are quite high of me getting it from chems. Being a keen macro photographer, I thought I'd take a picture of it. Defo belongs on DR tho' not as gory as some! Blue :) |
