Epidermolysis Bullosa
Genetic condition that causes the skin to blister and fall off at the slightest touch. Children born with this condition typically die young due to infections, malnourishment and even skin cancer.

That has to be horribly painful. Seeing that infant in that condition is heart breaking

My ex-gf's son has this. He is 14 now and is doing well. He didn't seem to be in pain when his skin was at its worst. This also affects his internal organs as well.
