Some women have extremely short labor, and their pains aren't too terrible that for a while they mistake it for indigestion. There was a story of a woman who gave birth on the way to the hospital and she caught the baby while her husband was driving frantically. I mean, hell, there's a whole series dedicated to women who didn't even know they were pregnant until they gave birth. |

My best friend was in labor for less than 5 hours combined for all 3 of her children.

Yep. Sometimes they come shooting out like a surprise cannon ball and you don't really have much time to do anything. Child birth also falls under the category of "When you gotta go, you gotta go".  |
