Re: Emergency Treatment of Priapism
fascinating vid. looks really painful. i think it's 4 hours in the uk to be classified as having priapism. Surgery may be recommended if your symptoms fail to respond to either aspiration or sympathomimetic injections. Surgery for priapism usually involves implanting a small device called a shunt into your penis. The shunt can be used to re-route the blood supply out of your penis. A small number of people who have surgery for priapism experience erectile dysfunction after surgery. However, it is difficult to estimate the exact risk of this occurring because there are other factors that may be related to erectile dysfunction, such as priapism itself, which confuse the issue. If you experience erectile dysfunction after having surgery for priapism, you may need to have further surgery to treat your erectile dysfunction, such as having artificial implants placed inside your penis. Figure 1. Surgical procedure of corpus cavernosum–corpus spongiosum shunt plus intracavernous tunneling. (A) Transitional glans penis dorsal incision; (B) small amount of black blood observed; (C) establishing the tunnel along the longitudinal axis of the left penile corpus cavernosum; (D) establishing the tunnel along the longitudinal axis of the right penile corpus cavernosum; (E) heparin in saline is used to flush the tunnel repeatedly to remove blood clots; (F) the glans incision is closed by mattress suture. |

Re: Emergency Treatment of Priapism
Yes, helpful video there folks. So remember this boys, don't take to many of the Viagra, no one wants a 5 hour hard on, (yeah right!) What the "fuck" or "not the fuck!" I am so happy I am NOT a guy! I just could not imagine going through something like this. Needles do not belong in a penis!
