An Elderly Man With Some Really Big Balls
A tender irreducible inguinal hernia in an elderly man with sepsis and generalized abdominal pain from a perforated appendix. We thought he had strangulated his bowel.

Re: An Elderly Man With Some Really Big Balls
Poor guy! I had an inguianl hernia, my balls were like a large baking potato, worst pain ever. I had a repair done where mesh is used to reinforce things, sadly my immune system didn't agree. A large quantity of lymph fluid and other gunk collected in my groin/sac. Had to have it aspirated with a massive hypodermic needle. Was a fairly rare occurrence, which baffled four doctors and a registrar, I finally told them what i thought it was and i was right. There were 10 or more medical staff there watching. One female nurse said, " it's about time you guys had some problems down there". Pain subsided after an hour or so to manageable levels. I was talking loads of dihydrocodiene and tramadol, was wasted but in loads of pain. |
