Ear Gauge Repair
Ear gauge repair or earlobe repair, is a surgical procedure in which an intentionally dilated earlobe is stitched back together. Gauges (also known as spacers, tunnels, cogs, caps or plugs) are a form of body jewelry that slowly expands the earlobe over time.

I was a tattoo artist and piercer for over 25 years. I’ve known lots of people with gaged ears. I even know a couple of people that have had huge paddle locks put on their ears while they were passed out drunk.  Trying to move around with a three pound lock on your ear is a bit difficult.  That’s a pretty good looking ear after the doctor sewed it back together. Excellent post! I’ve not seen this done before.  |

Fascinating! I worked with many people with large gauges. One girl had three in each ear, descending in size. She would hook her headphone thru it while she talked to customers. Some found it quite off-putting.
