Im a Paramedic ive been one for 2yrs and a total of 4yrs in EMS I had a call similar to this a few weeks ago. It was for an MVA in which the car hit the guard rail and flipped ove down into an embankment on the side of the highway. The bone wasnt out as far as this guys but the same injury in my 4yrs Ive never seen anyone bleed as bad as my patient did and ive done worse MVA's, Gunshots, stabbings and Pedestrian accidents.
