Draining and De-roofing a Heel Infection

This Iraqi teenager had stepped on a piece of glass. The village doctor did not clean the wound, and proceeded to suture the wound with horse sutures. A bridge surgeon fixes the problem during a CME (combined medical effort).[/quote]

Bet that hurt like a bitch

One odd thing I personally enjoy...having sutures removed... I like the way they feel moving through the flesh.... First time I noticed I enjoyed this was when I was 11 years old, had 14 sutures in my knee...screwed that whole summer up, couldn't bend the knee or go swimming etc. had a knee immobilizer for the whole summer and a big bandage, when the wound was all but healed I would play with the sutures, tug on them, move them back and forth... Doc took em' out and it was like... meh.. I coulda done that..lol.
felt cool none the less..
