thank you, there are also some animals who have been abused a certain way, like i had a dog once who was the sweetiest thing, (lab mix), i remember walking outside after letting him out and behind the storage shed i picked up my work boots and the minute i put those on, he walked around the corner and started growling and took off running tail tucked (long story short) found out his previous owner would put on some form of boots and beat the dog, so everytime the dog saw the boots..he knew he was going to be amused ..and it was ONLY when i put those boots on that he growled and avoided me

first dog was like that kind of, she had been abused and her back legs broken but she was the sweetest thing so we adopted her. She still loved all people but was deathy afraid of beer cans (specifically) and water, she would not even drink from her water bowl unless no one was near her. When it came to beer cans she would hide and either growl or whine.
