Dog Bites Owner's Forearm

These were taken by a coworker of mine. The victim is her sister. Apparently she was trying to stop her dog from fighting another dog, and it didn't work out well...

Re: Dog Bites Owner's Forearm

I was told to grab them by the tail and yank, to separate them. It does work, more than kicking them in the head, balls, etc., but there's always the chance they will turn on you. Or, be tailless...

in a fight they're often blinded with rage and everone or anything interfering gets the same treatment.

Re: Dog Bites Owner's Forearm

I've been instructed by canine trainers that if the worst happens and your dog gets in a fight
What you CAN DO is quickly grab both back legs and walk backwards quickly, moving in a continuous circle, keeping the dog moving, so that the dog is prevented from turning and nabbing you with its teeth.
Only problem there is that the other owner must do the same at the same time
Or else I suppose it wouldn't work at all.... Nevermind

Yes; we call it "wheelbarrowing". Doesn't always work, but always worth a shot.

Now fighting Tom cats with balls intact. That's where you don't wanna try stopping them fighting, My daughter got half paralysed in her hand from it.
