VA does have derm, however its typically for veterans. Im not sure if they see the dependents at the VA. I think thats separate..

All-righty, babydoll, you already know what I'm going to say.....yes, definitely get it checked out. Any medical person can tell you to mind the A-B-C-D's of skin cancer until they are blue in the face, but there are always exceptions to the rule. Melanoma is present on the epidermis (skin you see  ), but it can also grow underneath. There have been cited cases of moles that have stayed a consistent size in situ, for years, but have grown internally. Aren't I a scary bitch with my doom-and-gloom medical cases?!?!  I was raised in the medical profession (mother, godfather, adopted sister) and am just continuing the trend..... I don't know where you live, but if you are having problems with your VA, you can PM me. I worked on the business side of the profession while I was in high school and when I started college. I am a certified medical coder and biller and can, maybe, help you out with finding someone to see you SOON. As a last resort, there are many urgent care centers, in most large cities, that will take CHAMPUS/VA/Tricare/DEERS, etc. Hope everything is okay. |

People have shit like that.... It's Normal. But the real question is have you been taking care of yourself, and do You think they are Cancerous  Get em checked out or just keep a close eye on them. If it changes or Bleeds then that's Bad News Bears  |
