They appear to be .30 caliber 220 grain hollow point bullets. They are suitable for killing moose and elk. But one must strike a vital spot unlike the person who shot the man in the video. |

Re: Doc Removing Bullet from Neck, Ass and Ankle
What I find interesting is they do appear to be large-ish caliber rifle bullets but the wounds seem relatively minor. They don't appear to have had much velocity, otherwise the wounds would be much different.

Re: Doc Removing Bullet from Neck, Ass and Ankle
You don’t use hollow points to hunt big game. Those are not hollow points. You’re definitely guessing on the bullet grain. There isn’t enough information such as actual feel available for that guess. They appear to be 7.62 class. What they definitely are not is 7.62x51 from your description I can only surmise that’s what you are saying since you mentioned hunting. Simply saying.30 Cal leaves about 25 or so bullets to go through. I’m actually leaning heavy towards .300 Blackout because of the lack of KN they appeared to hit with. 300BO is commonly subsonic and even supersonic it’s still a heavy bullet coming out of a light powder charge casing.
