Diverticulitis
Photos of a man's stomach after having multiple surgeries for diverticulitis, resulting in a colostomy bag for 9 months. First photo is the day after his first surgery, he had a massive 2 litre blood clot in his abdomen after that surgery, so they had to rush him back in, but weren't able to close him up due to his kidneys failing, so they left him open and sedated for 24 hours to give his kidneys time to rest. He didn't heal well, he was drinking a lot of alcohol after he got home, alcohol doesn't help with healing, and at times his skin was literally melting away. |

Re: Diverticulitis
Diverticulosis occurs when small, bulging pouches (diverticula) develop in your digestive tract. When one or more of these pouches become inflamed or infected, the condition is called diverticulitis. Looks like the guy is an alcoholic so probably doesn't eat healthy (fibers etc.) instead of beans and fried food and probably doesn't exercise enough but when you consume a lot of alcohol after surgery the whole surgery was a waste of money. |

Re: Diverticulitis
Hard core alcoholics don't care about anything but drinking, even though it's going to kill them. I know this because I lived with an alcoholic who drank despite multiple hospitalizations and eventually died from complications of alcoholism...
